On Freedom

Folks, I think it a sure bet that none of you have ever described 'freedom' in the way you are about to hear. Believe me, it will be very difficult to swallow at first. This is a purely mystical and faith based analysis on the true nature of freedom given in poetic form by the brilliant Lebonese philosopher Kahlil Gibran.

My job, as you will soon see, is to attempt to 'break it down' so that the essence is understood by the audience at this specific conference; which is a VERY unusual discourse on GOD.

    Our freedom was purchased for us at the Cross of Calvary.This freedom does not give us a licenses to sin, It gives us freedom from sin and the rule and dominion of Satan.It frees us from the bondage of sin in our lives so we can live in peace without the beggage of sin. Our freedom is to be used to serve GOD in righteousness and holiness.Which can be done only as we place our faith on the finish work of the Cross.

    Tom, first let me thank you for your comment. I can tell it is from your heart. This article is about the Freedom we speak of in a political sense; as a form of government as opposed to dictatorships or other forms.
