Dear readers; I am quite confident that you've never imagined a definition of the 'heart' quite like the one you are about to read. To say the least, it is RADICAL; and based in inspiration and faith.
Scene description:
We're inside The PIT, partaking in this very unique discourse on GOD with some of the greatest minds in history, as well as some of the most notorious and evil people known to man; including Lucifer himself!
I've promised everyone that I will introduce a radical definition of the 'heart' when the time is right. I am being commanded to do so immediately.

Let's together take a closer look at this divine phrase. Since we know it is true, for it is stated in 2nd Chronicles Chapter 20 Verse 15; we are now in a position to use our intellects to give it a logical basis. Drama and fiction will be our tools.
Another excerpt from The PIT: The Road to Salvation.
Relax and prepare to feel great!!

If there is one faith based phrase that used to upset me and turn me off in my youth, it was that we should FEAR GOD!! Some preachers often use this phrase to make many good people feel like they are the worst sinners who ever lived; which of course suits their purposes just fine!
The set up and hint:
The audience at this VERY unusual discourse on GOD has all agreed that PRIDE is indeed the very worst of our sins and that it can actually prohibit our SALVATION!! However, it has also been shown that we cannot live without our PRIDE. I've been backed into a corner to solve this dilemma.
Let's rock!

Folks, I think it a sure bet that none of you have ever described 'freedom' in the way you are about to hear. Believe me, it will be very difficult to swallow at first. This is a purely mystical and faith based analysis on the true nature of freedom given in poetic form by the brilliant Lebonese philosopher Kahlil Gibran.
My job, as you will soon see, is to attempt to 'break it down' so that the essence is understood by the audience at this specific conference; which is a VERY unusual discourse on GOD.
I do hope you enjoy the ride and FASTEN YOUR SEAT BELTS!

As you can see, I have no intention of avoiding the most difficult topics. To me, the topic of homosexuality is THE most explosive, divisive, emotional, complex, passionate issue that is replete with built in hatred, fear, disgust, loathing and violence. In short, it is as close to a no-win topic as you can get.
Nevertheless, my faith demands courage from me so I intend to take a stab at it regardless of the risk of extreme reactions from my readers and the public at large.
My conclusion, as you will see, is that we are not nearly smart enough to really understand why some people are homosexual. In truth, we really don't have a clue. It is like trying to understand the WILL of GOD. Consequently, my small mind says that since our puny intellects are clearly insufficient, we should let our HEARTS lead the way to a Christ-like kind and righteous policy and a real tolerance of interpersonal relationships with ALL God's children
