If you are so inclined to purchase The PIT, you will find that I am not a great fan of the intellect. I readily admit in several passages that my own mind is both small and puny. In addition, I believe that both verbal and written communications have very significant limits.
This now said, my hope is for you and I to get to know each other on a far deeper level; for I can promise you that words alone are unable to get us there. If we can do this, communications between you and I can potentially take a giant leap forward. How can we do this?
WITH MUSIC!!!!
That will be our method; for it is a far superior communication between people than words.
The timeless jazz of Miles Davis, the eternal beauty and sadness of Beethoven’s Pathetique Movement, the old school funk of George Duke, the rap of Keith Murray featuring R. Kelly, the lite rock of the Police along with other genres, will indeed touch our souls. When time permits, please listen to at least a small part of each of these 10 songs; as they all represent a good window into my own soul. If you find that one or more of these selections seems to touch your own soul in some fashion; then we have the basis of a new and dynamic friendship, kinship, partnership, and relationship.
