Actually, each of these 10 songs touch my soul in some way.
I'd like to say a few words about Beethoven's Pathetique Movement. From time to time we all spend a few minutes reflecting on all those things in life that we cannot change; like war, violence, racism, sexism, poverty and greed. Thinking on these things deeper brings about a real sadness to my soul even though I know how wonderful it is to be alive. This beautiful piece by Beethoven speaks of the hearfelt sadness I feel for each of us in such a way that far surpasses any words my small mind can come up with. It actually brings a few tears to my eyes and a sullenness to my heart. Yet is also speaks of the beauty of life and makes my soul feel grateful.
